We’re currently looking for experienced self-employed counsellors and therapists from across Scotland to join our network.
As part of our support services we often arrange and fund counselling or therapy for adults, young people and children, as well as couples and families. This is an important aspect of our support provision and to ensure we can best meet the needs of those we support we are expanding our network.
Essential Requirements:
Minimum 2 years post-qualifying experience, including working with those who are bereaved
Accredited by either BACP / COSCA / UKCP
Personal organisation of external supervision in accordance with the guidelines of your professional body
Maintenance of appropriate professional indemnity insurance.
Awareness of issues facing those who have experienced the loss of a child
Desirable:
Experience of working with trauma and / or traumatic bereavement
Training and experience in providing play therapy
