Captain Tom 100 Challenge

30 Apr 2021 to 3 May 2021

Your Challenge – Anywhere

Free Registration – Raise what you can

On 6 April 2020, Captain Tom Moore set out round his garden to thank our NHS heroes.

One hundred laps later, he’d raised an incredible £38.9 million for the NHS Covid-19 Appeal.

His simple message of hope – “Tomorrow will be a good day” – inspired millions around the world and brought comfort and joy to so many during the pandemic.

Captain Tom 100

Now it’s your turn to build on that legacy. Friday 30 April would have been his 101st birthday and to honour him and his amazing achievements, you’re invited to join people all around the world in the Captain Tom 100 challenge as part of TeamSCDT.

How to get involved

Take on a challenge based on the number 100 anytime and anywhere over Captain Tom’s birthday weekend. It’s so simple:

  1. Dream up your 100 challenge – eg walking 100 metres, baking 100 cakes, hopping on one leg 100 times, building 100 sandcastles, writing a 100 word poem.
  2. Take on your challenge any time between Friday 30 April and Monday 3 May.
  3. Set up your fundraising page and help raise vital funds for the Scottish Cot Death Trust.  There’s no minimum fundraising commitment, simply raise what you can.
  4. Shout about your challenge on social media using #CaptainTom100 and encourage others to get involved. Remember to share your fundraising page link wide and far.
