Caitlin’s Virtual Kiltwalk

Our longstanding supporter, Caitlin, tells us what she has planned for this year’s Virtual Kiltwalk and why she is taking part.

“I am walking the West Highland Way for my Kiltwalk effort in order to raise funds for the Scottish Cot Death Trust. The WHW is a 96-mile multi-day trek from Milngavie to Fort William, and I am super excited! I’ve always wanted to complete the trek but never gotten around to it, this year seems like the perfect year for it.

The Scottish Cot Death Trust are an incredible charity who supported my family when they sadly lost my brother, Stephen Thomas, in 1991 at just 5 months old. They are a small team of dedicated people who do great work, and I am always really proud to support them in return.

I have raised my original target, however with a few weeks to go before I set off (due to current restrictions), I’d love to raise some more!”
